Senior iOS Engineer at Symphony Solutions

• We are seeking to recruit a senior iOS Developer to join our Agile engineering team developing web-based solutions for our large customer base and internal projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join the technology department of a leading employer and to play a significant role in the development and support of locally developed web-based applications.

You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Proven working experience in software development
• Working experience in iOS development
• Have published several iOS apps in the app store
• Deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as DevOps Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
