    School Placement Executive

    Position Summary

    • The role involves establishing and overseeing activities aimed at attracting and recruiting students to join our partner institutions.
    • A large proportion of time will be spent liaising with parents, guardians and school officials and you will act as a liaison between these primary stakeholders and admissions teams in destination schools.
    • You will also develop strategies to drive enrolment and maintain relationships with educational institutions.
    • This includes developing marketing materials, conducting school visits, holding exhibitions and delivering presentations to various groups and individuals.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Create and enhance recruitment and retention plans, including strategies and written materials.
    • Conduct outreach activities by visiting schools, attending fairs and engaging with parents, students and collaborating with school officers and counsellors.
    • Provide career and academic counselling to potential students, offering guidance on testing strategies, writing skills and application completion.
    • Deliver presentations to prospective students and their families on a range of topics such as student finance, student life, applications and personal statements.
    • Foster partnerships between the partner schools and local schools.
    • Prepare reports, proposals, and address enquiries from students and parents.
    • Set operational goals and objectives, implementing methods and procedures to improve operations.
    • Maintain and develop destination country information by utilising information gained from in country briefings or agencies such as the British Council, EducationUSA |etc.
    • Report on and evaluate existing market activity and keep abreast of changes within the study abroad sector in order to continually improve recruitment processes.
    • Take an active role in developing social media content strategy for student recruitment purposes as required.
    • Positively representing the organisation’s brand and values in all interactions and engagements.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience working in international education and student recruitment.
    • Demonstrable and up to date knowledge of ethics, current trends and best practices in student recruitment.
    • Previous experience of working in a front-line customer service environment and the confidence to relate well to our primary target audience.
    • Experience of organising recruitment fairs/events and exhibitions.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Outstanding technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
    • Previous experience with working towards sales targets.
    • Good understanding of the use of CRM tools will be a distinct advantage
