    Sales Manager

    Job Description

    • The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales through strategic relationship building with prospective clients, fostering new business growth within designated accounts, overseeing a team of sales professionals, and meeting sales objectives.
    • He / She will engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and capitalize on business prospects, negotiate contracts effectively, and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure success.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities, establish, and maintain relationships with key clients, and expand the company's customer base.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Build and maintain strong positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create effective sales campaigns, promotions, and product enhancements
    • Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
    • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the management team.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is considered advantageous.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably within the services, automotive, or logistics industry.
    • B2B experience is essential.
    • Demonstrated success in sales management, particularly in the automotive oil services industry as a B2B sales manager or area sales manager for prominent chains such as NNPC, Total Energies, FORTE OIL / Enyo, MRS, Conoil, Mobil, AIM, NIPCO, Rain Oil, or in the telecommunications sector with companies like MTN Nigeria, Airtel Nigeria, Globacom Limited, or 9Mobile.
    • In-depth product knowledge encompassing the company's offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Proficiency in analyzing sales data, preparing comprehensive reports, and delivering impactful presentations.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
