    Real Estate Project Manager

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist in the definition of project scope and project charter, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
    • Review of detailed design plans and ensuring they meet and uphold high standards for quality and scope.
    • Support business units project managers to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure flawless execution of assigned projects.
    • Apply a system to monitor, track progress, manage changes to the project scope, schedule and cost.
    • Measure and report project performance and escalate proactively to management.
    • Understand and deploy risk management techniques to minimize project risks
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and database (digitally)
    • Project Management: Plan, manage, track, report on, and drive successful delivery of strategic initiatives and projects to scope schedule, quality, and other business requirements.
    • Corporate Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on corporate performance across dimensions including business, operational, strategy initiatives, and project performance.
    • Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, construction procedures, estimating and scheduling practices.
    • Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
    • Analyse real estate trends and proffer recommendations for improvement.
    • Coordinate cross-functional management reviews. Provide periodic updates and reports on projects and strategic initiatives to the MD as required.
    • Stakeholder Management: Engage, manage, and collaborate with key stakeholders for effective financial management and best business outcomes.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering or related field
    • Possession of an MBA is an added advantage
    • 6+ years of relevant working experience in real estate/construction project management or a related role is required.
    • Experience and proven record in construction and project management for commercial and residential developments with involvement from start to end completion of medium scale projects.
    • Must be able to read and interpret plans, specifications, BOQs and an extensive variety of technical instructions in diagram form.
    • PMP certification is an added advantage.
    • Excellent supervisory and decision-making skills with other professionals of different industries, and different levels of management.
    • Must possess good multi-tasking skills and a healthy sense of ownership over tasks.
    • Must have demonstrated the ability to communicate successfully with a diverse range of audiences.
