QuickBooks Accountant at Ascentech Services Limited

Responsibilities

• Post and process Accounts Payable journal entries in QuickBooks
• Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements and Skills

• HND/B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
• 3 + years experience in bookkeeping
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Excel
• Ability to process high-volume vendor payments
• Strong debits/credits knowledge
• Stable job history
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Additional certification (ICAN) is a plus
