    Pre-Offer Analyst

    Job Summary

    • We seek to hire an individual needs an industry professional with a strong personality, good people management skills and proven ability to work as a team player to support the department and entity.
    • The individual will be required to have a thorough understanding of NGX RegCo’s policies, overall mission and strategy, as well as a strong Finance/Legal background preferably with experience from a listed company.

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out comprehensive pre-listing analysis of applications received.
    • Review Financial Statements with a view to enabling informed investment decisions.
    • Review and analyse Listings application documents to ensure adequate disclosure of information and adherence to Listing requirements.
    • Identify lapses in applications and liaise expeditiously with professional parties.
    • Convey approval of Rules and New Business Committee to Stockbroker(s) for issue.
    • Provide post approval interface with Issuers to ensure Listing process is initiated within three months of approval of application.

    Person Specification & Required Qualification(s)

    • Minimum of B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Law or related fields.
    • MBA or Professional qualifications in Finance, i.e., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA etc. would be an added advantage.
    • 5 to 8 years’ post NYSC work experience in the financial services sector in preferably an Exchange, or Investment Bank, Issuing House, Stock Broking Company with strong research and communication skills, and credit risk management and analysis.
    • Minimum of 2 years in supervisory/team leadership role.
    • Adequate knowledge of IFRS, Securities legislations and Corporate Governance principles and codes and Tax laws.
    • Proven ability to accurately analyse financial ratios.
    • Capable of consistently demonstrating initiative.
