Marketing Officer at SENCE Nigeria

Job Summary:

• Our client, an established Trust Management company, is setting up an Asset Management Firm and requires the services of an experienced Marketing officer.
• The ideal candidate will contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies and will also ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management.
• The person should be excited about building new relationships, strategizing next steps, and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.

The responsibilities include;

• Supporting the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations
• Organizing and attending marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
• Accompanying sales team on visits to key/potential clients as needed
• Developing innovative investment products and swiftly responding to competitors.
• Seeing all ventures through to completion and evaluating their success using various metrics
• Preparing content for the publication of marketing material and overseeing distribution
• Conducting market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
• Driving and motivating the sales team to meet up with aggressive targets.
• Collaborating with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
• Ensuring sales reports are reported to the CEO on-time

Requirements

• The requirement for this role includes:
• Minimum BA/BSc (2nd Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit)
• At least 5 years’ experience in marketing Investment Products in Nigeria
• In-depth knowledge of the Asset Management Industry in Nigeria and products offered
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian capital and money markets
• Evidence of a diverse network of clients
• Experience doing digital marketing for a Fin-tech company is desirable
• Excellent planning and project management skills
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word for presentations
• Ability to fluently articulate the value-add of the products to current and potential clients
