Management Accountant at Fin Insurance Company Limited

Responsibilities:

• Monthly Reconciliation of accounts recievable: ReInsurance Treaty and Accounting, Claims reports and Production report.
• Cash Flow management and weekly reporting of accounts payable
• Timely Payment of commission in line with company’s policy
• Compliance and reporting of general ledger accounting
• Preparation of statutory audit schedule.
• Budgetary control activities.
• Investment portfolio reporting and monitoring in line with NAICOM Filters.
• ERM reporting
• Credit control
• Clients account reconciliation-investigation and answering of queries
• Making recommendation on debt recovery to the management
• Preparation of relevant credit control reports to the regulatory authority .e.g. Naicom,NDIC etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, CFA, CPA or equivalent
• Progressive financial management experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices, including financial modeling and forecasting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team
