Juice Production Manager at Louis Valentino Nigeria Limited

The production Manager (Beverages & Fruit Juice) reports to the general manager; ideal person must have passion for quality beverage  production with a positive can do attitude.

DUTIES:

• Manages all activities related to beverages and juice production operation  including extraction, blend, flavour, bottling to filling
• Work daily closely with factory floor, supervisors, maintenance & quality personnel to plan and adhere to achieve set targets of finished goods
• Plan factory labour hour schedules and cycles
• Direct and resolve all production and maintenance problem at minimum cost and prevent operational delays and loss
• Provide input to the development of food strategy, R & D of new and emerging products.
• Ensure adherence & compliance with internal and external juice production regulation
• Prepare daily/monthly production reports, downtime, output and waste records
• Ensure TQM in all aspects of production, food safety and adherence
• Understands basic juice production recipe and ensures strict adherence to established color and aroma
• Any other duty as assigned by management.

• Ability to understand and manage line control, bottle flow at an even pace
• Ability to understand line staffing and productivity calculation in line with standards, meetings set target at an effective cost.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate or HND in food science technology or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years  experience in beverages and juice production (3years at managerial level).

REQUIRED TRAINING:

• “GMP” Good Manufacturing Practice
• “HACCP” Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point

SKILLS:

• IT Skills(Microsoft office proficiency) for report presentation
• Ability to work to dead line
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of inventory finished good management, stocking/palleting

AGE: 40 years and above
