    IT Support Officer

    Salary: 150,000 gross monthly. 

    Principal Duties / Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
    • Install, configure, and maintain software applications, ensuring uniformity across the organization.
    • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network performance.
    • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing timely resolution and exceptional customer service.
    • Generate reports on IT performance, compliance, and security metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
    • Implement data protection measures, including encryption, access controls, and data loss prevention mechanisms.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, provisioning IT resources and providing necessary training.
    • Assist in the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational needs.
    • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements are met and value is maximized.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Proven experience in IT support roles, with a strong understanding of hardware, software, networking, and security principles.
    • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent are desirable.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
    • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in the field of IT support.
