    Inventory Manager

    Responsibilities:

    Inventory Control:

    • Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures.
    • Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed to prevent stockouts.
    • Optimize inventory turnover ratios and minimize excess stock.

    Ordering and Procurement:

    • Coordinate with suppliers to place orders for goods and supplies.
    • Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Track and manage deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Implement quality control measures for incoming goods.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Identify and address any issues related to product quality.

    Forecasting:

    • Analyze demand patterns and market trends to forecast inventory needs.
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to align inventory levels with sales projections.
    • Anticipate seasonal variations and special events impacting inventory.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions.
    • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and turnover.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

    Cost Control:

    • Implement cost-control measures to optimize inventory-related expenses.
    • Evaluate the financial impact of inventory decisions and propose cost-saving initiatives.

    Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with various departments, including purchasing, finance, and operations.
    • Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to align inventory with menu requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to address inventory-related issues.

    Waste Reduction:

    • Implement strategies to minimize waste and reduce product spoilage.
    • Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely use of perishable items.
    • Implement sustainable practices in inventory management.

    Technology Integration:

    • Utilize inventory management software to streamline processes.
    • Stay informed about technological advancements in inventory systems.
    • Train staff on the effective use of inventory management tools.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
    • Proven experience as an Inventory Manager in the hospitality or related industry.
    • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
    • Proficiency in using inventory management software.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
