    Inventory and Treasury Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Treasury Officer is responsible for maintaining general ledger, maintain logs of daily receipts, manage billings and invoicing as well as managing all the inventory including Medications.

    Responsibilities
    Treasury Function:

    • Document bank transactions by processing checks and online deposits in a proactive manner
    • Enforce credit policies to ensure that defaulters and clients with extended credits pay on time
    • Ensure that all payments received from clients are entered into designated databases
    • Post payments to appropriate accounts and maintain logs of daily receipts.
    • Manage billings and invoicing of clients
    • Prepare weekly and Monthly revenue and expense reports
    • Maintain petty cash logs,
    • Handle cash clearing and credit balancing activities along with determining and investigating unidentified accounts
    • Ensure that Cash is arranged and stored in an orderly manner (according to denominations) in the safe box and ensure that the cash cabin is neat, tidy, and free from all prohibited items.

    Inventory function:

    • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the inventories
    • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
    • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
    • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
    • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
    • Issuing items and updating bin cards promptly.
    • Reconciliation between bin card & electronic records.
    • Set a minimum stock level for all fast-moving items in the store.
    • Keep records properly and updated.
    • Ensure a good arrangement of the stock in the store.
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports
    • Reconciliation of non-available items to make requests for replenishment.

    Requirements and Experience

    • OND in Accounting Minimum
    • 1 - 2 years’ experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
    • Good numerical skills
    • Good analytical and financial skills
    • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory taking
    • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a warehouse environment
    • Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
    • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
    • Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.
