    International Customer Supply & Logistics Coordinator

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsibility for coordinating shipments to a specified group of customers, through receipt sales orders.
    • Support the finance and commercial teams with the set up and documentation of supply chain and customer services processes for Ovaltine's export markets.
    • Initiate, develop and maintain close working relationships with customers and proactively aim to understand and deliver their requirements in relation to the deliveries of their finished goods.
    • Instigate and ensure regular and appropriate communication with customers, keeping the Commercial Manager Africa and Factory team proactively informed of relevant matters.
    • Prepare timely, accurate shipping documentation in line with customer and export requirements.
    • Work closely with Nigeria's warehouse team to ensure goods are picked accurately and on time.
    • Work in conjunction with logistics operators, freight forwarders and shipping lines to arrange the most efficient and cost effective despatch of orders by agreed routings, whilst ensuring orders leave on time.
    • Ensure accuracy of the order book and customer details in all IS systems and databases.
    • Process custom clearance within Nigeria.
    • Process credit and debit notes according to departmental processes and ensuring appropriate sign off and retention of documents for audit purposes.
    • Ensure all customer sample requirements are satisfied appropriately.
    • Follow departmental procedures to process documentation for damaged products, returns and insurance claims, ensuring correct sign off and archiving of documents.
    • Cooperate with external institutions in order to obtain appropriate certificates meeting the legal requirements of customers in the field of CBB import.

    Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in import/export procedures and documentation in manufacturing facility or experience in FMCG in logistics area and/or customer service.
    • Experienced in supply chain customer services, logistics and shipping experience within a manufacturing organisation.
    • International commercial awareness from customer service and or manufacturing business.
    • Computer literature with the ability to use Microsoft systems and SAP
    • Good verbal and written communication skills in all areas, including by telephone, email and in face-to-face situations
    • A team player with the ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organisation
    • Ability to process large packages of data and to create reports
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
