    Head of Admin and HR

    Job Summary:

    • The Head of Admin and HR oversees administrative operations, manages human resources functions, and ensures effective organizational support including recruitment, employee relations, and policy implementation.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Human Resources Management: Lead recruitment, employee onboarding, and performance management processes.
    • Policy Development and Implementation: Formulate and enforce HR policies, ensuring compliance and a positive workplace culture.
    • Administrative Operations: Oversee day-to-day administrative functions, and manage admin budgets to optimize efficiency and support overall organizational objectives.
    • Employee Relations: Foster a healthy work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Compliance and Legal Matters: Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulatory requirements, minimizing organizational risks.
    • Training and development: Implement programs to enhance employee skills, career development, and overall team performance.
    • Logistics: Handle logistical aspects such as inventory, supplies, and equipment procurement.
    • Facility Management: Oversee facility maintenance, security, and space utilization.
    • Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
    • Technology support: Manage office equipment and assist with basic IT issues.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Possession of relevant HR certifications such as CIPM, HRCI, PHR, or its equivalent is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in HR and administration roles.
    • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all HR practices.
    • Experience in handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
    • Familiarity with the industry of the organization, understanding local business practices and regulations.
    • Proven track record in managing end-to-end recruitment processes and successful onboarding.
    • Ability to contribute to organizational strategy and align HR initiatives with business goals.
    • Uphold high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in HR matters.
    • Experience in managing HR and admin budgets efficiently.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in HRIS, performance management software, and Microsoft applications.
