    Head, Enterprise Sales

    Job Duties & Responsibilities
    Sales Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement the overall sales strategy for enterprise-level products and services, aligning it with the company's business goals and objectives.
    • Identify target market segments and develop effective sales strategies to penetrate and expand the company's presence within those segments.
    • Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
    • Evangelize the product and personally help close the largest deals.

    Key Account Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise-level clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
    • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with the account management team to maximise revenue potential.
    • Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities through networking and referrals from existing customers.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction, address any issues or concerns, and identify opportunities for further growth.
    • Proactively identify customer needs and business opportunities and pursue action plans to address them.

    Sales Process and Operations:

    • Establish and optimise sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Monitor and analyse sales data, pipeline, and performance metrics to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimise sales operations.
    • Effectively partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure high collaboration and teamwork to drive business goals.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives that support sales objectives.
    • Proactively identify customer needs and business opportunities, and pursue action plans to address
    • Provide feedback and insights from the market and customers to drive product enhancements and improvements.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.

    Team Leadership and Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the enterprise sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional results.
    • Set clear sales goals and performance targets, and regularly monitor progress to ensure their success.
    • Foster a high-performance sales culture, promote collaboration, and ensure effective communication and coordination within the sales team and across other departments.
    • Manage team expectations regarding task assignments, work arrangements, and other department expectations.
    • Engage in the team's development by providing direction, mentorship, coaching, feedback, and identifying areas of growth and training opportunities.

    Person Specification & Additional Requirements

    • 7+ years of sales leadership experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS;
    • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles using solution selling techniques;
    • Project management experience and strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
    • Ability to create, edit and review technical contracts and documentation;
    • Dynamic presenter with the ability to translate technical thoughts into everyday language;
    • Strong analytical skills;
    • Ability to motivate a team of high performing & experienced sellers
    • Proven ability to access and develop trusting relationships with C-level business executives;
    • Proven ability to implement and continue a repeatable sales process to help AE productivity;
    • Ability to understand business strategy, work across business units and support managers and manage working relationships at all levels of the company.
