Productive Playhouse is seeking Hausa to English translators for a large-scale short-term translation project. We invite candidates with near-expert knowledge of English and experience in consecutive or written translation and interpretation to join our team..

Project Details:

• Translate videos from Hausa to English with 6 to 24-hour turnaround times.
• Start times may vary, including overnight for overseas team members.
• Videos may contain sensitive content (employees can opt out from translating/watching at any time).
• Project volumes vary, with no guaranteed minimum work amount.
• Indicate availability for specific times to receive work requests.

Requirements:

• Professional translation/interpretation experience preferred
• Strong computer and internet skills
• Solid English grammar, orthography, and punctuation (a test is required)
• Responsiveness and access to email
• Web search skills
• Ability to onboard within two weeks
