    Group Engineering Manager

    We are looking for a Group Engineering Manager who will be responsible for ensuring production continuity and product quality by guaranteeing machine and equipment performance and continuous improvement, in accordance with company standards and procedures.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensures the execution of the Plant Maintenance Activities in the safest procedure.
    • Develops the maintenance plan for machines, equipment and facilities.
    • Develop the maintenance schedule and monitor its achievement ensuring that preventive and predictive maintenance best practices are applied.
    • Monitor the use of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiate reordering when necessary, so that these are available when required.
    • Promptly manages, organizes, and participates in maintenance activities to solve breakdowns, halts and failures and restore production.
    • Guarantees the daily inspection of all machines and equipment; verifies inspection report, maintenance logbook to anticipate and prevent emerging issues.
    • Plans, supervises, and assesses servicing and maintenance activities by external suppliers; proposes alternative suppliers to optimize costs and services.
    • Plans, organizes, and participates in machine and equipment installation and setup including preparation of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic set up; carries out sampling activities ensuring correct process setting.
    • Manage and oversee that equipment used for maintenance is in working condition and liaise with maintenance parties to conduct repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Establish and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
    • Review, approve and submit reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
    • Monitor the operation of plant equipment, identify any issues requiring attention and take the necessary action towards its rectification.
    • Actively collaborates in testing and improving machines and equipment.
    • Actively participates in the investigation of quality problems, finds solutions and implements corrective actions to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Maintains document archives (technical documents, manuals and dossiers) regarding machinery, equipment or utilities.
    • Contribute to the development of the annual maintenance plan and objectives to enable achievement of overall plant objectives.
    • Develop and implement maintenance processes and procedures towards the achievement of maintenance objectives efficiently.
    • Develop and monitor the maintenance budget and promptly identify deviations and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to rectify these.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a relevant degree.
    • 7 years accumulative Maintenance experience preferably in FMCG Environment.
    • 4 years managing a maintenance team.
    • Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems
    • Excellent knowledge of plastic molding technologies (SBM)
    • Applied Knowledge of WCM Standards
    • Good Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Rules and Practices
    • Good User for AutoCAD 2D Software (3D is a Plus).
    • Strong knowledge in maintenance processes and concepts.
    • Strong technical knowledge in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
    • Overall knowledge of production processes.
    • Efficient user of Microsoft Office computer skills.
    • Planning and Organizing.
    • Team Management.

    • Group Wide production Volume Achievement (Annual Operating Plan)
    • Flawless Execution of Plant’s Capacity Expansion Projects
    • Group OEE
    • Total Manpower productivity
    • Spare Parts Cost – Achieve ±10% forecast accuracy for repair and maintenance budget.
    • Annual Maintenance Plan Adherence – On Time in Full (OTIF) – Complete Lines Overhauls.
    • Leverage critical spare parts inventory stock achieving adequate Safety stock and Reorder points.
    • Support BUs Improve H and S Results working on Unsafe conditions within the plants.
    • Ensure Delivery of 08 Training hours per Employee Per year for BUs Maintenance Staff.
