• Your main goal will be to create a supportive learning environment that will help your students meet their learning goals. You'll oversee their progress through interesting and diverse methods by tracking their assignment and exam grades to provide useful feedback.

Responsibilities

As an upper primary class teacher, you will be required to:

• organize classroom lectures and coursework
• help students prepare for standardized tests like common entrance examinations.
• engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere
• collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience
• identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans
• assign homework and interesting exercises
• communicate proficiently with students
• proficiently integrate technology into teaching
• provide feedback based on workload and classroom behaviour.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a grade 5 or 6 class teacher teacher
• Relevant teaching certification may be required.
• High proficiency in Mathematics and English
• Knowledge of various teaching methods
• Deep understanding of the Nigerian and British curricular for the upper primary.
• Exceptional organizational, listening and communication skills
• Dedication to students and education
• Proficient computer skills
• Minimum degree: Bachelors in a science-related field
• Strong multitasking abilities.
• Excellent leadership skills.
