    Finance Manager

    Job Description

    • As the Finance Manager at Taeillo Nigeria, you will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the company, driving growth, maintaining investor relations, and leading the organization to profitability.
    • You will work closely with the executive team to provide financial insights, strategic recommendations, and operational support to ensure the achievement of our business goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
    • Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to support the company's growth objectives and drive profitability.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
    • Provide timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support decision-making processes.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with investors, presenting financial performance and growth plans to instill confidence and foster investor trust.
    • Conduct financial modeling and analysis to evaluate business opportunities, investment decisions, and potential risks.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax obligations.
    • Optimize financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
    • Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role, preferably within a start-up environment.
    • Demonstrated success in managing financial operations and leading a company to profitability.
    • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis techniques.
    • Experience in investor relations, including presenting to investors and managing investor communications.
    • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making processes.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
