Fashion Designer at Ruff n Tumble

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Dripping of Proposed Designs
• Research and create New Design using various fabrics
• Research for trims & Accessories to fit proposed designs
• Prepare Sample Patterns
• Make Request for raw fabric, Accessories and trims from the local and foreign buying team
• Ensure to ascertain availability of raw materials to use for each specific design created
• Efficient in picking fabrics, colours, combinations and designs for production.
• Creative usage of fabric leftovers to reduce wastage.
• Liaise with raw material and external vendors on accessories to be created for outfits produced.

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• First Degree from a reputable higher institution
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Experience in Fashion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to do sketches by hand.
• Excellent design and conceptual skills.
• Strong ability to pay attention to detail.
