    Facility Manager

    Job Description

    • Submitting and administering the weekly expense estimates on allrepairs that relates to the facility,
    • Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services relating to building maintenance, repairs, enhancements, renovations, paintings, electrical, plumbing, mechanical (air-conditioning, etc.)
    • Implement allocation of office spaces as decided by leadership of the church from time to time
    • Implement energy-saving measures and sustainability practices to reduce operational costs.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to facility management, including security, disaster preparedness, and liability.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and continuously improve the quality of service.
    • Notify Management about planned downtime at least 24 hours in advance. Endeavor to provide alternatives to critical services to enable normal operations to be achieved.
    • Supervising and helping with office allocation and relocation as may apply from time to time
    • Handle and supervise all the Insurance that relates to the Building and equipments therein.
    • Regularly inspecting Building structure to determine need for repairs and renovation
    • Keep Financial Records of All weekly expenses on facility.
    • Ensuring that facility meets compliance standards and government regulations.
    • Planning the future by forecasting the facility upcoming needs and requirements.
    • Ensuring employee and facility safety.
    • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
    • Hire the right contractors to carry out hard and soft facilities management servicesafter obtaining approval from relevant supervisor.
    • General repairs and maintenance of the church building and premises – This includes plumbing, painting, and all kinds of repairs as required.
    • Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
    • Ensure functionality of Fire Extinguishers and Security Lights
    • Hardware maintenance and functionality of CCTV equipment
    • Liaise with service providers such as interior and exterior decorators to ensure compliance with standards to prevent damage to any part of the building.
    • Ensure no electrical or communication cables are flying around. All cables must be appropriately trunked.
    • Manage church parking lot to ensure efficient usage.
    • Maintain lawns, ornamental plants, etc. and ensure weed control.
    • Ensure all toilets are functional at all times
    • Ensure prompt Waste Disposal and follow up with the Church Administrator for prompt LAWMA fees payments.
    • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions (hot, cold, rainy, dry seasons)
    • Collaborating with upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.
    • Regularly liaise with Building Committee Chairman on matters that relate to the facility
    • Other Asset management:
      • Electrical repairs,
      • Ensure that Generators are serviced regularly as at when due without fail.
      • Janitorial Duties: Will also ensure that the church facility (offices and worshiptorium, etc.) are open and made ready for services andall doors are locked at the end of the day and all lights and electric points are switched off except the security lights.
    • Oversee and set performance standard for third party security vendors. In compliance with the Church’s SOP.
    • Ensure continuous surveillance and patrol are established.
    • Undertake high-level security reporting.
    • Ensure no disruption to daily operations of the church as a result of perimeter breach from invaders.
    • Perform man-guarding at the main entrance gate in the form of access control for employees and visitors alike on non-church service days.
    • Perform emergency response in the event of an emergency.
    • Record all security breaches and unusual incidents and provide a report to THE CHURCH monthly.
    • Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
    • Reporting primarily to the Resident Pastor.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees with 3 - 4 years relevant work experience.
