    Events & VIP Engagement Specialist

     

    Role Overview:

    • You will be striving to grow and develop VIP customers performance as an integral part of the business; ensuring they are well engaged and excited by the products.
    • You will also be responsible for planning events that enhance our organization's image, improve client loyalty, and enhance our brand-to-client experience.
    • You will be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning, and managing our events' calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief objectives.
    • Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will assist our organization in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing client and employee relations, and improve our organization's growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Prouce and manage a variety of brand and company led events throughout the year, from beginning to end, that include program development, creative and scenic design, event strategy, thematic development, event planning and production, entertainment, site selection & venue management, event survey and evaluation, food and beverage management, complete staging technical design / production, budget management, and all event operational logistics.
    • Co-ordinate & manage VIP customers retention programmes, including hospitality, gifting, player incentives and Company reward programmes, seeking and responding to feedbacks
    • Grow VIP members by identifying and developing new VIP customers through networking, relationship building and customer referrals.
    • Actively reduce the rate of VIP attrition through knowing your customers and spotting signs they are at risk of lapsing, implementing strategies to retain them.
    • Plan and implement VIP promotions/events, ensuring that all Team Members and customers are fully aware.
    • Be an expert on various event venues, event and audio-visual technologies, innovative event design, event support resources and industry trends.
    • Liaising and negotiating with 3rd party vendors.
    • Handling post-event reports.

    What You Need for This Role:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing and communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Minimum of 7 years consistent event experience and hold a bachelor's degree
    • Proven account management and client servicing skills
    • Highly collaborative and motivating team player who is not shy to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
    • Strong communication & negotiation skills
    • Ability to influence, inspire, and motivate at all levels within an organization where varying opinions are the norm as well as external partner through good judgement and outstanding communication skills
    • Have ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
    • You are basic with Microsoft Office usage.
