    eCommerce Product & Content Administrator

    We are seeking an eCommerce Product & Content Administrator to build & manage relationships with the most popular brands in the consumer industries. This position will work as part of our team in managing product-related information and content to provide an optimal online shopping experience for our customers. You will work alongside the Website developer/IT and Marketing team to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and brand visibility and will assist in tech-focused customer-facing content creation that delivers a unique, content-rich, and high-value customer experience.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The eCommerce Product & Content Administrator will support a cohesive website experience by ensuring all new and existing product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, and promotions on the website are following established company templates and industry best practices. This person should be interested in concisely telling the story of a product or brand and what sets it apart from the rest of the assortment and the competition. Strong attention to detail is required to ensure all information on the site is accurate, complete, and easy for customers to understand. This position requires a high level of flexibility and interpersonal skills as you will need to work with multiple internal teams and suppliers within the fast-paced, ever-changing eCommerce environment.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    PRODUCT & BRAND MANAGEMENT

    • Build relationships with Audio Advice brands & become the internal expert for brand categories and products.
    • Ensure the website is up-to-date and accurate with respect to images, pricing, promotions, and products on a day-to-day basis.
    • Daily maintenance and execution of product launches, updates, and promotions.
    • Validate product data to ensure accuracy before publishing on the website, streamline product placement into appropriate taxonomy structure.
    • Work with brands, sales & support, and marketing teams to proactively identify areas of opportunity for new products, address content & product-related issues, and determine needs for on-site merchandising, content, and images.
    • Research & implement powerful SEO content within product titles, descriptions, content, and metadata.
    • Reporting/analysis on current product & category performance in Google Analytics or sales dashboards to spot gaps and escalate opportunities for improvement.
    • Continually monitor the site to identify any systemic or merchandising issues that could challenge customer experience.
    • Ensure data quality for product feeds on Google Shopping, retargeting, marketplace, and affiliate channels.

    COPYWRITING & CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

    • Test products & write product reviews, comparisons, setup guides, and other content as needed.
    • Ideate & execute on content opportunities for new & existing products.
    • Lead SEO efforts to support customer acquisition and revenue goals.
    • Perform regular site audits to ensure accuracy of content, merchandising, and functionality.
    • Work with internal videographer/photographer and suppliers to procure necessary images for product detail pages, landing pages, emails, and other creative.
    • Maintain continuous and current knowledge of the e-commerce marketplace, best practices, and competition to leverage the company’s strengths to aggressively increase market share within the channel – remaining current on customer/competitor situations and generating plans to ensure market share objectives are achieved.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience in e-commerce content writing.
    • A passion for high-quality content.
    • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, SEO, Google Analytics, and content development.
    • Adaptable to changing priorities and flexible to urgent issues.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong organizational & time management skills to work individually and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and multi-task, but knows when to escalate issues or ask for help.
    • Desire to consistently learn and apply new technologies.

    • Previous editorial-like content writing & experience in hosting videos.
    • Hands-on experience in Photoshop, Magento 2, WordPress, feed management, and online marketplaces.
    • Advanced level expertise with Microsoft Excel.
