    E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist

    Job Summary

    • As an E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the Energy, Power, Oil & Gas sectors, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive online engagement, making sales, enhance brand visibility, and optimize the e-commerce channels of the company.
    • You will leverage your expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and industry-specific knowledge to create effective campaigns and initiatives that resonate with the target audience.

    Responsibilities

    • Digital Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals.
    • Identify market trends, customer behaviours, and industry developments to inform strategy adjustments.
    • Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media to drive traffic and conversions.
    • Manage and optimize the company's e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience and a customer-centric approach.
    • Monitor online sales performance, analyse conversion rates, and implement strategies to improve sales funnel efficiency.
    • Coordinate with the sales team to align online and offline sales efforts.
    • Develop engaging and industry-relevant content for digital platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, and email campaigns.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create content that educates and informs the target audience about energy, power, oil & gas topics.
    • Manage the company's social media accounts, curating content and engaging with the audience.
    • Monitor social media trends, respond to comments, and create content that fosters community engagement.
    • Use web analytics tools to track and analyze website traffic, user behaviour, and campaign performance.
    • Generate regular reports on key metrics and provide insights to improve digital marketing strategies.
    • Identify potential partnerships and collaborations within the industry to expand the company's digital reach.
    • Work with external agencies, freelancers, or consultants when necessary to augment digital marketing efforts.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies related to e-commerce and digital marketing.
    • Apply market insights to refine strategies and stay ahead of industry shifts.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field
    • Proven experience (5) in digital marketing, e-commerce, Sales or a related field within the Energy, Power, Oil & Gas sectors.
    • Strong understanding of the Energy, Power, Oil & Gas industry, including key players, trends, and challenges.
    • Strong marketing [e-commerce/digital marketing especially] exposure) with extensive experience in E-Commerce
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including SEO, SEM, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and web analytics.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret marketing performance metrics.
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their functionalities.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt to changing market dynamics.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards within the industry.
    • Certifications in digital marketing and e-commerce (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot, e-commerce platform certifications) are a plus.
