Drupal Developer at 1840 & Company

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Drupal Developer to join our client’s dynamic team to help maintain and build complex, integrated Drupal web applications. This role demands a deep understanding of modern front-end technologies.

Salary rate - Naira 1,837,000.00 /  Month

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications, e-commerce &and websites using Drupal CMS, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI developers, and designers to implement responsive &and user-friendly designs.
• Create and customize Drupal themes, templates, and modules to meet project requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality of Drupal sites.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize website performance by implementing caching, content delivery networks (CDNs), etc.
• Develop custom modules and functionalities as needed to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand project requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Drupal releases, security updates, and industry trends.
• Participate in planning and estimation discussions for new projects

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of Proven experience as a Drupal developer with a strong portfolio of Drupal-based projects.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display and information architecture
• Experience with Drupal 8 and 9, including custom module development and theming.
• Familiarity with Drupal's API and hook system for extending core functionality.
• Knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL or other relational databases and SQL query optimization.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of web security best practices and Drupal-specific security considerations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Drupal certification is a plus.
