    Direct Transport Sales Executive

    The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by actively seeking out and engaging prospective customers especially those in the concerned vertical. This position involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, presenting product offerings, negotiating contracts, and closing sales. The Sales Representative will work closely with the sales team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and maintain a deep understanding of the market to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintaining Customer Relationships in Nigeria, Lagos.
    • Manage and develop the relationships within the customer portfolio.
    • Work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth For customers with specific area importance, develop account business plans that encompass ocean as well as Logistic & Services products.
    • Maintain an overview of the customers business within the geography.
    • Identify and win opportunities relevant to O&L products direction setting.
    • Sell standalone products depending on customer need
    • Define and deliver changes to business targets based on market/asset view.
    • Work with the Capacity / Campaign Manager function to formalize the commercial plans and ensure maximization of assets.
    • Actively monitor local NPS across segments and drive local initiatives to improve customer satisfaction for all local Accounts.
    • Manage stakeholders across the area, region and global functions.
    • Actively provide feedback to the sales channel lead based on customer feedback and insights.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • At least 3 years' track record of success in sales, preferably in the Logistics & Services industry.
    • Strong understanding of Ocean transport, and market dynamics, as well as value added services.
    • Excellent knowledge of Trucking.
    • Proficiency in English is a MUST.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
    • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and a passion for exceeding targets.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
    • Willingness to travel and meet with clients as needed
