Data Protection Officer at Avetium Consult Limited

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations
• Provide guidance and advice to the organization regarding data protection matters, including GDPR and NDPR compliance
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance
• Respond to data protection-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor and investigate data protection incidents and breaches
• Work with IT teams to ensure that systems and processes are designed to comply with data protection regulations
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure that data protection and privacy considerations are taken into account in all decision-making processes
• Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations and keep the organization informed of any relevant developments.

Requirement:

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in any related course.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data protection compliance or related field
• Expertise in data protection laws and practices, including a deep understanding of NDPR and GDPR
• Ability to promote a data protection culture within the organization.
• Strong project management skills
