    Business Development Executive

    Salary: N200k - 250,000 Gross p/m + Bonus + Benefits, Pension

    About the Role :

    We are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Executive to help expand our business, lead new business development, and facilitate innovative software consulting engagements with clients. The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for driving company sales and revenue by nurturing existing clients and sourcing new clients,

    This role requires a unique combination of business development and B2B sales experience within IT services. The role requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to get to know the business quickly and develop a broad range of relationships, and a proactive, engaging and energetic style. You will need to combine strong leadership, communications and client relationship skills with a credible level of technical understanding. You will use this to build relationships within our prospective clients

    Responsibilities:

    • Prospect and identify potential clients in the IT industry through market research, networking, and cold calling.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their business needs and pain points.
    • Develop customized solutions and proposals to address clients' requirements and demonstrate the value proposition of the company's products or services.
    • Collaborate with the development and product team to ensure that proposed solutions align with clients' objectives and capabilities.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements to close deals and achieve sales targets.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to support sales efforts and enhance the company's offerings.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Track and report sales performance metrics, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and conversion rates, to management.
    • Gain understanding and mastery on all Gurugeeks Tech capabilities, products and services.
    • Identifying opportunities to expand and extend Gurugeeks role within our existing client portfolio.
    • Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
    • Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
    • Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Proven track record of successful sales and business development experience in the IT industry.
    • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales and marketing tools.
    • Ability to work independently and part of a collaborative team.

    Other Attributes:

    • Able to work both independently and in a cooperative team environment to achieve goal business goals.
    • Intermediate level of proficiency with CRM, ERP, Retail Operations, MS Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
    • Understanding of IT Software development and lifecycle.
    • Ability to translate strategic business objectives into commercial proposals and communicating them to all levels of a client’s organisation.
    • Strong customer relations and client service skills.
