Business Development Executive (Employee Assistance Program)– QuietPlace
Quietplace (QP) is a virtual-based mental health service provided by CRI Nigeria through their Quickcare initiative. Quietplace provides professional counselors, resources, and referrals on a confidential basis to assist those seeking mental health support ranging from stress management and anxiety to mental health crises.
Our primary goal is to enhance mental wellness by making mental health services more affordable, confidential and accessible online to reduce the possibility of stigma and inconvenience.
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential workplace wellness service that helps employees deal with work-life stressors, family issues, financial concerns, relationship problems, and drug or legal concerns. Our EAP services are available to both employees and their families to help remain productive at work.
The Business Development Executive for QuietPlace will be responsible for researching and pursuing new EAP leads for the growth of the service. The role involves active coordination across teams internally and prospective organizations externally and demands exceptional interpersonal skills. The executive is expected to work on new EAP opportunities and presentations which are a persuasive representation of the QP services.
Job roles and responsibilities
The primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive include:
Build contacts with potential EAP clients to create new business opportunities
Keep prospective EAP clients’ database updated
Make cold calls for new EAP clients leads
Support in writing new EAP proposals
Follow up with existing EAP clients with progress updates
Maintain knowledge of all service offerings of QP
Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective EAP clients
Follow company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of new EAP clients, submission of proposals, etc.
Competencies and Skills Required
Must have good knowledge of EAP services
Must possess strong customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Must have good negotiation skills
Must be able to create good presentations
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Must be detail-oriented and an active listener
Ability to work under pressure
Qualification
Experience working in a B2B environment in outbound marketing, sales, business development, etc.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any related fields.
Strong passion for mental health awareness, education, and interventions.
Knowledgeable about Microsoft Office Suite – (specifically, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong project management skills.
Social media savvy.
