    B2B Business Development Executive

    Job Objective :

    •  A Business Development Executive is a professional who is responsible for the growth of the business and the department.
    • They work with the sales and business development team to develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
    • This role is responsible for delivering on set Enterprise sales targets and ensure the revenue and profitability of the organization.

    Key Deliverables:

    • Budgeting, Sales and Marketing forecast and Development 
    • Development of yearly target/sales forecast to align with our Enterprise sales objective.
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the Enterprise market for connectivity solutions.
    • Development of the marketing mix strategies, towards achieving set sales target.
    • Regular reporting on sales/marketing activities.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers for connectivity solutions
    • Ensure submission of both weekly and monthly plans/reports.
    • Revenue generation/market expansion
    • Achieves sales and marketing objectives in line with corporate business objective.
    • Grow and manage assigned account/sector
    • Promptly raises invoices for services rendered.
    • Actively follow up on invoices raised until payments are received. 
    • Communicating opportunities to achieve better value 

    Relationship Management/Customer

    • Ensure a delightful and dependable relationship management with customers
    • Ensure management and retention of old and acquisition and retention of new customers 
    • Deliver customers/prospect’s proposals/requests in a timely manner
    • Network and develop relationships with key decision-makers within Enterprise space
    • Regularly gather market intelligent reports on customers, competitors and the industry as a whole.
    • Act as the primary point of contact and account holder for Enterprise customers in the assigned sector
    • Corporate image/ Publicity 
    • Be a good ambassador of the VDT brand 
    • Be involved in the publicity drive of the organization 
    • Acquire knowledge of the industry regulatory bodies that the organization plays in (NCC, ATCON).
    • Resource Management 
    • Efficiently manage the organization’s resources in his/her care/generally in use.

    Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour required to succeed in Role 

    • Degree in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Business or Science
    • Relevant trainings in sales, business development or Marketing
    • Minimum of 3-6 years in sales and marketing function especially in telecom sector
    • Sound analytical and presentation skills
    • Sound verbal and written communication skills
    • Adequate technical disposition to guarantee thorough knowledge of Customer service and service delivery platforms.
    • High sense of professionalism and creativity.
    • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
    • Pleasant personality and cheerful disposition

    Attitude and Behavioral Traits 

    • High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality 
    • Very good interpersonal and presentation skills 
    • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills 
    • Strong oral and written interpersonal skills 
    • Ability to prioritize tasks as well as delegate and manage teams.
