    Accounts / Audit Assistant

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
    • Create and update expense reports after daily physical stock checks in all income generating departments.
    • Process reimbursement forms.
    • Prepare bank deposits.
    • Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
    • Check spreadsheets for accuracy after daily audit checks.
    • Maintain digital and physical financial records.
    • Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed with approval form the General Manager and Accountant.
    • Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

    Requirements

    • Level Required: Minimum of BSc / B.A Degree

    Areas of study preferred:

    • B.Sc / B.A in Accounting or Finance from an accredited University.

    Experience:
    3+ years professional experience in a hotel /hospitality industry and preferably 30 years and above.

    • Knowledge of bookkeeping procedure
    • Familiarity with finance regulations
    • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors with excellent written and spoken English
    • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
    • High level of organization skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
