Account Officer at JMG

We are seeking a highly experienced Account officer who would play a pivotal role in daily receipt of customer payments and disbursement of imprest, giving reports on daily activities carried out.

• Custodian of cash box/Check daily cash accounts.
• Prepare, disburse and post petty cash payments.
• Prepare daily petty, retail main cash and main cash report.
• Post daily cash, transfers and cheques received from clients.
• Maintain weekly and daily report of cash transactions and IOU
• Attach all relevant documents to all posted vouchers and receipt

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a large organization with a minimum of 3 years experience as a cashier.
• Knowledge of cash management principles and procedures
• Ability to calculate numbers, correct entries, and post to records 
• Account balancing skills
