Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team and provide plumbing services for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and preferences, and provide recommendations and estimates for services.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors to coordinate plumbing installations and repairs in construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards in all plumbing activities.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and services provided.
  • Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively, following proper procedures and precautions.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely assistance to clients as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in plumbing systems and techniques.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior plumbers and apprentices as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training preferred.
  • Valid plumbing license or certification required; additional certifications or licenses may be required depending on location and type of work performed.
  • Proven experience as a plumber, with a strong technical background in plumbing systems and installations.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair plumbing issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment, including wrenches, pipe cutters, soldering irons, and drain augers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
