A Network Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, building, implementing, and maintaining an organization's computer networks.

Job Brief:

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking, experience with network protocols and technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network infrastructure components.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support network-related projects and initiatives.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, help desk staff, and other IT personnel on network-related issues and tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Cisco or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet products.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds, and Cisco Prime.
  • Familiarity with network security principles, practices, and tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
