  • Assist with library budget planning and resource allocation, including grant writing and fundraising activities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Library and Information Science or related field from an ALA-accredited program.
  • Previous experience working in a library setting, with knowledge of library operations, principles, and best practices.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of library cataloging and classification systems, including AACR2, RDA, Dewey Decimal Classification, and Library of Congress Classification.
  • Proficiency in using library management systems and integrated library automation software (ILS).
  • Familiarity with online research tools, databases, and information resources.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children, teens, adults, and seniors.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing library programs, services, and outreach initiatives.
