    MD, CBI Digital Media

    Job Summary:

    • Our client is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Managing Director to lead its Digital Media division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital media trends, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in a fast-paced environment. The Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Digital Media division, including content strategy, audience development, revenue generation, and team management and he will report directly to the Executive Vice Chairman of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital media strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Led a team of digital media professionals, including content creators, editors, marketers, and analysts, to achieve strategic objectives and drive results.
    • Drive audience growth and engagement across digital platforms, including websites, social media, mobile apps, and emerging technologies.
    • Ability to generate 24hrs news content and ensure engagement within all the digital media platforms
    • Ability to position the news channel as the most frequently watched through digital platforms.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial, sales, product development, and technology, to ensure seamless execution of digital initiatives.
    • Oversee the development and production of high-quality digital content, including articles, videos, podcasts, and interactive experiences.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
    • Develop and manage digital media budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and drive accountability.
    • Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders, including media companies, influencers, and content creators.
    • Champion a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Digital Media division.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to raise awareness and enhance the company's reputation in the digital media space.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Proven track record of leadership and success in digital media, with at least 10 years of experience in a senior management role.
    • Extensive network in and around d country.
    • Ability to network at the highest level.
    • Ability to set up a winning broadcast team that competes favorably with international brands
    • Strong understanding of digital media platforms, technologies, and trends, including social media, content marketing, SEO/SEM, mobile marketing, and analytics.
    • Excellent strategic planning and business development skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable results.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
    • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret data, analyze performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
    • Passion for digital media and a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry developments and best practices.
