Founded by The Late Lady Kate Osanakpo (a London-trained cosmetologist) with the support of her husband, Sir Louis Osanakpo, (a London-trained accountant.), we became known as Kates Beauty Products. In 1970, we expanded the scope of the business and started manufacturing products in Aba. In 1975, the Company was incorporated as Kates Beauty Products Limited.

    Field Sales Executives

    Job Purpose

    Achieve the agreed volume / value sales targets, sales and distribution objectives of the company in the sales territory through effective management of the retail channels by achieving optimum distribution and visibility of the company’s products.

    Implement marketing and sales promotional programmes within assigned territory.

    Main Accountabilities

    • Achieve agreed volume and value of sales for the sales territory.
    • Compile a comprehensive database of the retail channels/stores in the territory and ensure database is updated regularly.
    • Ensure implementation of company’s sales strategies, policies, and plans. Ensure strict compliance to the standard operating procedures.
    • Identify and ensure optimum exploitation of  the business potentials of the company in the territory..
    • Achieve the performance standards/ KPIs on all aspects of the sales indices.
    • Ensure that the company’s products have effective shelf presence in all the major retail outlets in your territory. Ensure effective display of the products in the shelves by obtaining display at eye level.
    • Maintain good relationship with the trade, and trade associations, ensure continuous open communications with them through periodic meetings.
    • Ensure effective implementation of the marketing promotional programmes in the sales territory, effective participation in trade fairs and exhibitions so the objectives are achieved.
    • Maintain a regular monitoring of competitive activities and prompt reports and effective market intelligence in your territory.
    • Ensure daily sales reports are completed and dispatched on schedule.
    • Any other assigned responsibilities.

    Relevant Experience

    • Good understanding of Software Analysis and Database Mgt.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
    • Good Analytical skills
    • University Graduate
    • 1 year cognate experience in sales, Marketing or customer marketing.
    • Good interpersonal and communications Skills.

    Key Environment

    • Internal: Finance and Accounts; Store, IT support team.
    • External: Distributors, 3rd parties
